The Chubby Girl’s Bucket List

Hi Cuties!

I was recently looking into horseback riding. I used to ride when I was a little girl. I did a few competitions, won some ribbons, and felt like I was part of a family legacy of horse riders. Then 25 years passed and I never got back in the saddle. “Is there a weight requirement for horseback riding?” I googled. As a child I never needed to worry about such a thing, but now…

It turns out that there is a certain weight requirement for horseback riding. It depends upon the size of the horse. Which makes the math a bit more complicated, really, because instead of using tons or pounds (or kilos! Heck, even stones!) they measure horses in hands. Hands! For example: One thoroughbred horse might be 16.5 hands. What does that even mean?? Can my large tush fit in the saddle or not? That’s all I really want to know. So I frowned at my laptop screen and proceeded to question how much of life I was really going to savor.

Yes, I’m fluffy.

Yes, I have stumpy legs and a round bum.

But, gosh gollies, I want to seize life whether I’m large or thin!

Grabbing my glittery notebook I proceeded to put together my “Chubby Girl’s Bucket List”. I suppose it might take my entire life to complete this list, but I’m a bit of a “go-getter”, so I’d like to hope that I complete this list much sooner. Now, without further delay, let’s dive in:
